Nancy Shoch

Nancy Shoch, raised in Philadelphia and transplanted to WNC, has been discovering painting for the past five years. She has a keen eye for texture and color, having worked in New York's garment district as a textile designer and creating floral designs for weddings and other events.

Her heart is now focused here in the high mountain farmland of WNC. She is continuously inspired by all the vistas and animal life around here, fusing her enthusiasm for photography with her passion for painting. She's an avid gardener, keeping a daily journal of all she witnesses in her projects. Also a dog lover, she's writing a children's book about a dog that goes on an adventure.
